That was the subject line of an email I got yesterday. It went into my 'Junk Mail' and I almost missed it!
Here was the rest of the email:
"Hi Shar,
I wanted to let you know that your 2 hours of staging advice led our hand toward a very quick offer and sale of our house.
We met with you back in November in our home and made color, furniture purchase and placement decisions based upon your advice that really made our showings pop!
Thanks for you help! Very happy to give any referrals to you!"
Well, wasn't that nice! Most of the time, after I have been with a client for a Home Staging Consultation and given them a detailed list of what they need to do to get their home ready for sale, I never know if they follow through with the instructions and how long it took their home to sell. 
I am unable to track all the homes I have been in for a consultation as many don't list for months if not a year later.
It is so great when a homeowner follows up with me. I love it!

That is great Shar! I think so many people miss out on the importance of properly staging their home. Glad these folks listened and it payed off!
Isn't it great when you get feedback, and even better when it's a thank you and/or a report of great results?! It's a team effort - you can give a client your best advice, but they have to follow through with it and make it happen. Congrats on your success with this project and your "assist" in helping them sell their home!

Shar- that's an email every stager loves to receive.. good for you!!!!! You are so right about keeping track of the consultations we provide and how successful their staging efforts were. I've tried following up with their Realtor as well but not always successful in getting a response. It's nice to know that the 2 hours were well spent.

Hi Shar--congratulations. Who doesn't love opening those emails. Apparently you have some very happy sellers who were very wise to select you and follow your advice.
Thanks for all the comments everyone. I had a full day of appts yesterday plus had to stage a vacant home so I didn't get home until 10:00 last night. TIRED!

I very seldom know the results of a consultation Kathy, unless it is a client of a Realtor I work with a lot and we talk about his/her listings. It is nice when we do hear!
